lamps
The shell lamp applies more than just one quality of the mussel shell. The bowlshape protects the eyes. Much of the light is reflected by the nacre, the rest passes smoothly through the translucent material and is sparkling by the row of little holes. The shell's helix and it's first hole are fixing points for the thin curved copper thread which supports the shell. It is attached to the heavy one of both low current power wires, which serves as the carrier. I warmly recommend this lamp, which enlightened me already a long range of years. This kind of design eliminates the reminiscence of the problems that had to be solved.
