Many living patterns are clearly similar to non-living ones, and there may even be some scale steps between the structures we are comparing. Even in cases that there is not a prove yet, these similarities indicate that parts in a living structure incline to order like parts in non-living structures. Or, while a plant might order organs in an inherited way, the first choice is automatic activity.
